Minibus Driver

We are looking for well-mannered, kind, careful and considerate drivers who want to work a few hours a day, enjoy early mornings and make a difference to a child’s education.

You will join our small, dedicated team of drivers who are responsible for picking up children before School commences.   The successful applicant needs to be able to drive a 17-seat minibus.

Twyford School is a long-established independent and co-educational Prep School on the outskirts of Winchester.   We have about 400 well behaved and friendly pupils between the ages of 2 and 13 and we offer six morning minibus routes for children aged 4 and above.   Further details of our beautiful School, which is set in 30 acres of glorious countryside, may be seen on our website at www.twyfordschool.com.

Successful candidates will be flexible, friendly and caring, and are accountable to the Bursar as members of the Estates team. A full, current driving licence is essential, D1, Driver CPC and/or MIDAS is desirable. MIDAS training will be provided for the right candidate. Previous experience of working with children is desirable.

The working hours are 6:50 am to 8:50 am Monday to Friday during term time. We will try to be flexible over the days worked if required. There may be additional hours available throughout the year to assist with school trips and sporting events.
