Welcome to Abbey Fecher our new Head of Pre-Prep 27.04.2022

Abbey not only has a real love and appreciation for Pre-Prep, she has vast experience in teaching pupils across the Pre-Prep and Prep phases. She joins us from Prince’s Mead school, where she spent her most recent years as Head of Pre-Prep, most notably creating and establishing their Nursery.

Abbey adopts a child centred approach to education, she passionately believes in our youngest pupils learning through play, whilst laying the building blocks required to be successful, independent learners. She values social and emotional development just as much as the academic subjects,  the importance of first-hand experiences and enabling pupils to explore, ask questions and reach their potential . Abbey is looking forward to leading the Pre-Prep into its next chapter and establishing herself within the Twyford community.
